The first major town on the route is Pamplona, where you'll find an impressive cathedral, lively alleys and green parks. Apart from this, the city is full of restaurants and bars offering typical Basque cuisine. Keep in mind that at the beginning of July there is the San Fermin festival, which is celebrated for about ten days and culminates in the famous bull race, so the city is full of tourists and it is recommended to book accommodation in advance.
