The city of León is one of the most impressive along the Camino and is divided into Old Town and New Town. The old town centers on León's cathedral, built in the Gothic style of the 13th and 14th centuries, in addition to many buildings added along the old part of the city (Church of San Isdoro and the Monastery of San Marcos). At night the city is bustling with life and is a central entertainment center, young people happily flood the alleys of the city, local clubs and bars. Good spot for more than one day stop.
